Who doesn’t love chocolate? It’s one of those treats that can make you happy when your down, smile when your sad and completely change your mood with just one delicious taste. Chocolate can make you feel like your wrapped in a warm hug from an old friend. It doesn’t judge or let you down. Chocolate is life!
My entire life has been devoted to the search for the perfect chocolate and what I have found is that there isn’t really a bad chocolate, some just taste better than others. I was recently given the opportunity to try Mrs. Cavanaugh’s Home-Fashioned Chocolates as a member of US Family Guide. I never turn down an opportunity to try a new chocolate because you never know when you are going to find that one piece that you cannot live without, that changes your views on chocolate forever. This chocolate is a cut above other products I have tried.
I had bariatric surgery five months ago and I can no longer eat chocolate that is not sugar-free ( thank goodness that have that option available) but my hubby is as big a chocolate lover as I am so he was pleased to have an entire box and 4 bars of chocolate all to himself. His words were ” I’ll fall on the knife for you” . The box we received has ” The Gift of Delicious” stamped on it and truer words have never been spoken. According to the hubby it is most definitely a gift. Our box is or should I say, was, the 9 oz Traditional Milk Chocolate variety box. It contained such goodies as maple nut, raspberry cream, rum victoria and one my hubby called “pure Heaven”, coconut mound. His mouth actually watered while eating this one. He loves coconut and says he could eat a whole box of just this one!
