Cinnamon Pretzels Recipe

Anything that’s sweet and salty is a hit in my book but if it is also low in fat and sugar then count me in! Pretzels are a great “diet” food as they have little to no fat and are very reasonable in calories. I try to stay away from one of my favorites, chocolate covered pretzels but here is an alternative that still let’s me have the salty/sweet I crave, without the sugar!!

Ingredients:
2/3 cup vegetable oil ( or olive oil)
1/2 cup Splenda Granulated
2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
1 1-lb. package small pretzel twists

Directions:
In a large roasting pan stir together oil, cinnamon, and Splenda. Add pretzels and toss until the pretzels are fully coated. Bake, uncovered, at 300° F oven for 30 minutes, stirring occasionally. Spread on waxed paper to cool. Makes 12 cups
