I love chocolate and Pillsbury sugar-free mixes for me are like crack lol. I have created many, many desserts using them and now I have this one. Cherry brownies. Super easy and super yummy. Each brownie has only 1.5g of sugar!! YAY! This number is for a 8×8 pan cut into 12 brownies.

Ingredients:

1 box Pillsbury sugar-free brownie mix

1 can Comstock no sugar added cherry pie filling

1 egg

3 tbs water

1/3 cup oil

Directions:

Place brownie mix, oil, egg and water in a large mixing bowl and mix til smooth.

Add one half of the can of cherry pie filling and mix again

PLace batter in a 8×8 pan that has been sprayed or buttered

cooking time states 25-32 minutes depending on your oven but about halfway through the cooking time

take pan out and cover with the remaining cherry pie filling. use a spoon to spread it evenly over the top

place back in oven and continue to cook til fork or toothpick comes out clean. approx another 10-12 min

Let cool, cut into 12 equal squares and serve.

Great topping ideas are a tsp of marshmallow fluff ( low in everything including sugar)

sugar-free cool whip works well too
