Oasap Handbag and Headband Review

I recently was accepted as a fashion blogger for Oasap. This is a company that delivers on fashionable and trendy items for your wardrobe. I am quite the handbag connoisseur and much to my husband’s chagrin, I keep adding more to my collection. I chose the Contrast Colored Striped Shoulder bag with Plaited strap in a beautiful light blue. Most of my handbags tend to be in neutral colors like black and brown or some variation of these and I decided I wanted to add a little color to the mix and chose this one.  I have to say I was not disappointed! The colors are beautiful together and I absolutely love the colors inside the bag, a vivid swirl of colors in bright orange, blues, yellow and brown. It has a magnetic closure and  is 13 inches across and 9 inches top to bottom. The braided strap has an 11 inch drop and the included, interchangeable, shoulder strap has a drop of 22 inches.  I love that that is comes with two straps as I don’t always feel like carrying a bag on my shoulder.  This bag also comes in a pretty pastel pink. I think this bag looks great with a tee and jeans or dressed up for a night out.

I also received the Sweet Flower Pattern Beading headband.  I love the antique, heirloom look to it.  Once I received it, I realized it was a little young for me, but my 23 year old daughter gladly swiped it and modeled it for me and I think it looks so cute on her.  She has a civilian military job and has to dress up for work everyday.  She gets tired of the same old ponytail or headband in her hair and she just loved this one. The one thing she pointed out was that it was not uncomfortable at all on her head.  She said it did not pull her hair or apply to much pressure.  

I am completely satisfied with both items I received.  (although shipping did take a while) I also browsed through their website and found so many more items I would love to have.  They offer many different products and styles for just about every taste.  Whether you like classic and sophisticated or trendy and unique, you will find something for you here.

With the HA you take one tablespoon( 1/2 ounce) once a day. You can take it alone or with juice, water or tea.  I mixed it with juice as the taste was a little strong for me.  The benefits of HA are better lubrication of joints and  eyes and for more supple skin.  

The Super Collagen helps keep nails and hair thicker and stronger, promotes joint health and produces radiant skin.  I have been using these products together as a daily ritual and feel better and have less pain from the arthritis.  I can’t wait to see how much healthier I look and feel in the future.

EZ Instant Makeover Chalkboard Film Review and Giveaway

I am all about products that are fashionable and make my life easier.  I love to find unique ways to decorate items around the house that can also be functional.  I have tried keeping a dry erase board or notepad on my fridge to keep track of items we need from the store but it always seems to disappear into the clutches of my three year old grandson, never to be seen again.


Ez Instant Makeover Chalkboard film has solved this problem for me.  Their peel and stick Chalkboard film  makes it easy to decorate anything I want with an erasable chalkboard finish.  I am by no means a handy person so I was a bit afraid of a do-it-yourself endeavor.  The film comes packaged in a roll and I removed it and let it lay flat for awhile with heavy objects holding down the corners so that it would not roll up on me too much during installation.  I measured the surface that I chose, which happened to be the inside of a cabinet door for a pantry I have in my kitchen.  I then measured the film and cut.  I do not have a steady hand so I had to trim once it was in place. There is also a wayward screw right in the middle of the surface that I had to kind of inch around.

 I peeled back the backing paper just a little at a time and put the film in place.  As I secured it, I would peel back the paper a little further and then smooth out the film.  I continued to do this until it was completely in place. I used a slightly wet towel to smooth it out and voila! Finished.  Now I can write my shopping list where little hands cannot reach.  


I also tried putting the film over the glass of an old picture I was not using anymore but that one didn’t come out as well.  I don’t know if it was the glass or just me, but I could not get the bubbles out of this one.  It would look really cute if I could. Like I said, I am not a crafty person by nature but I am sure someone who is could create amazing things with this. Another idea I had was to put this up on my grandson’s closet door so he can doodle anytime he wants.  I think it would make a great addition to a dorm room or even in a garage for your honey-do list.

I absolutely adore, love, am fond of, fancy, like and have a huge passion for TEA! Get the picture? I like the smell of coffee but can’t stomach the taste. But Tea  is my passion. I had to switch to decaffeinated teas because the caffeine gave me cardiac arrhythmia. . Some oolong teas I can handle and some light green teas as well and thank goodness because their flavors are divine.

I received 4 looseleaf tea variety collections to sample: Acai Berry Blend, Oolong Collection, Super Fruit Sencha Green Tea Collection, Lemon Rose Bud Oolong Collection (pictured below) and Chamomile Vanilla Bean Herbal Collection.

Upon opening the package, the Super Fruit Sencha smelled very much of a raspberry/blackberry blend and I wasn’t sure I would enjoy it since it  was very strong, but after brewing it the fruit flavor was delicate and the green tea flavor very light. It was very refreshing and would be delightful cold as well.

The Acai Berry Blend smelled like a musky currant when I opened the package, but I loved the flavor. I thought it would also be overpowering but it was wonderful without being heavy and the oolong came through with a slight tang. I would use this tea for everyday drinking.

The Lemon Rose Bud definately had the fragrance of roses but the flavor was very faint and the oolong flavor very light with  a touch of ginger. It was a delightful tea and I would also think this would be great iced.

The Chamomile Vanilla Bean immediately filled the air with the sweet aroma of vanilla beans  and the chamomile flowers looked lovely among  the other ingredients. You definitely need a strainer for this one  since it has a lot of floating ingredients.   I can envision sipping this tea before bedtime , curling up with a book in front of a fire or for a tummy ache! It has a  sweet, flowery, yet distinctly vanilla flavor with a hint of licorice.

Do I have a favorite? I love them all but I could drink the Acai Berry Blend  anytime! I think Fusion Teas has a lifelong customer here!
